DOGE has built AI tool to reduce federal regulations Techcrunch

According to Washington Post, the Ministry of the Government is hoping to use the new AI tool to induce half of the Federal Government regulatory mandates.

The post, which has a message of the PowerPoint presentation date of 1 July, states that the AI DEGE deregulation tool is intended to analyze the tree of 200,000 federal regulations and identify those that are not long required to eliminate half of these regulations by President Donald Trump’s first birthday.

This work seems to be ongoing, and the presentation declares that this tool has already been used to review regulations at the Ministry of Housing and the Development of AK.

A White House spokesman said the post that “no single plan was approved or green”, but appreciated the DOGE team as “best and bright in business”.

This is just the latest AI tool developed by DOGE (LED in the first months of Trump’s administration by Elon Musk), including one allegedly susceptible tool that would hallucinated the size of veterans contracts.
