Mac Gaming has become serious in recent years, with AAA slate to Macos. If you want the highest mechanical keyboard to go through these titles, the V3 Razer for Tenkeylless could be the answer.
With high -quality assembly materials and many essential features (even including the ability to change, as you press each key to activate it), they are the most demanding Mac players. This, however, is its high price and lack of software support for Apple fans? Let’s find out.

Razer Huntsman V3 for Tenkeyleless: What I Love
Razer Huntsman V3 for Tenkeylless is the price for the highest end of the market and you will certainly get a premium product for your cash. The body is made of solid plastic with the upper plate of aluminum and wherever you look no bending or bending. Above the arrow keys is also a sharp LED display that indicates a profile that is used, where the lock or game mode mode and more are allowed.
Razer decided to text with PBT keyboards with a slightly red texture for them and feel great and will be resistant to radiation over time. It also backlit and lighting is beautifully clear and clear, so the keyboard is in a dark room.
Under the germs are analog optical switches Razer. It is linear, which means that there is no tactile feedback when each of them is pressed and offered very fast responsible ideals for games with a high institution. Unlike some linear switches, they are quite comfortable for long writing (although other tactile switches are getting better after that).
The TenKeyleless factor is more compact than the standard keyboard layout (Secry from Numpad) and is a good balance for both writing and playing. In the upper right flight, the volume is dialing with the built -in mute button, plus the buttons for media controls and opening the Xbox game panel in Windows (MacOS does nothing). As with almost all other keys, all of them can stay in the Razer Synapse in Windows (but not in MacOS).

As we discuss in the next section, Razer’s Synapse – which is used to insert many keyboard functions – doesn’t work with MacOS. Razer, however, has spell solutions because you can add key messages, switch profiles, and enable and edit the quick trigger features, and capture the keyboard shortcuts. It’s a little clunkier than using the application, but that means MAC users do not miss these features last but not least.
The ability to tune the key control levels – that is, how far you need to press the key to register the input – it is really useful because it means that the keys can feel as heavy or light as you like (and can be incredibly easy). If you want to use this feature in MacOS, press the function and keys on the tab, and then turn the volume dialing or use the arrow keys. The LED display shows your chosen key level (for example “1.2” for 1.2 mm). You can also press the key to test the selected message level, then press the ESC or Function button and store your change directly to the keyboard (which means they transfer any Mac or the computer to which you connect the keyboard).
There is a similar feature for fast boot mode that allows you to re -activate the key without getting fully and allowing it to return to your non -pressure position. Press the function and lock the press, then press CAPS lock again and highlight the currently active fast starting keys. Turn the volume dial to adjust their sensitivity or try to use them to try them – their backlight is green, the key is controlled and red when reset.

Similarly, Snap Tap is allowed to press the function and move the left. This allows you to press and hold one key, then click the other and the two keys will be rotated (eg hold AA click B and the output will be abababab). Unfortunately, without a synapse, you can’t say when this is or off with an exception by testing, because there is no visual indication.
Finlly, you can also switch profile profiles to the keyboard. Press the function and one of the six keys in the upper right corner (Home, End, etc.)-each of them has a corresponding profile number on its key ship. The LED display icon changes color when profile changes. You can choose from one of the five pre -made profiles, each with its own news messages, setting up fast shutter and more, and the profiles include those for FPS games, racing titles, high sensitivity mode and more.
Being able to praise things only with a keyboard requires a lot of lack of community of the synapses and the implementation of razer is very easy to use and understand. While we prefer to use synapse, editing things on the keyboard itself means that you will not miss many of these excellent game features.
Razer Huntsman V3 for Tenkeyleless: What I don’t love
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room: Razer Synapse. Razer’s Companion App is used to trigger all its products and the Huntsman V3 for Tenkeyless does not differ. You use synapse to change keys levels, enable features such as Snap Tap and Rapid Trigger, tune the lighting mode and more.
Problem? Synapse des doesn’t work with macOS. This means that many features – many of which are the basic elements of the Huntsman V3 for Tenkeylless – are not available to Mac users. This included allowing a continuous fast starter (but not a normal fast boot) mode, remap keys, creating new profiles, macro settings, and creating advanced lighting formulas. Since we are, however, it is good news that many basic keypad functions can be allowed without requiring synapse. Yet you may feel that the price of the keyboard is a little too big to justify it without a synapse.

There are several other notes. There is only one switch (linear) and swap swap options are not swapable. The sound of writing may also not like mechanical keyboard purists – it’s loud, clumsy and heavy. Palm Rest is also very strong (some people will like it, while others don’t have to). Although magnetically linked to the keyboard along its upper edge, it lacks the clips that hold it in place, so they can slip from side to side. FINLLY, there is no way to enable MacOS layout, so certain keys (for example, command) are not where they are expensive.
However, none of these problems is urgent as a lack of support for synapse in MacOS. In the past, we have repeatedly talked to Razer and we have always ensured that MacOS support is on their list of tasks. We watched again and looked at the Huntsman V3 for Tenkeylless and received the same answer: future support is possible, but it does not define anything yet. The sooner the support arrives, the better.
Razer Huntsman V3 for Tenkeyless: Competition
SteelSeries Apex for TKL is another mechanical keyboard without thin messages with distinctive messages and fast boot function. Like Razer Huntsman V3 for Tenkeyless, it comes with backlit PBT key pockets, adjustable stand and on -board display. It’s a little more affordable for $ 18999/189.99.
If the aesthetics of the player is not quite your thing, but you still want many of the same features as Razer’s keyboard, the key Q1 that QMK is a much more subdued matter. You still get a control dial and customizable control points, but in a more mature look. It also features swappable switches with magnetic activation, seal mounting design and macOS and Windows alternation button. Is the price for $ 219/193 £.
