Tea, an application that allows women to publish anonymous comments about men that assumedly a date, announced on Friday that it had suffered in data violations, while hackers gained access to 72,000 images.
This number includes 13,000 selfies and photo ID submitted to verify the account as well as 59,000 pictures from posts, comments and direct messages, the company said. Tea also said that no e -maly number was exhibitions and that we only influenced users who registered before February 2024.
“We have involved third -party cyber safety experts and work continuously to secure our systems,” the company said. “At the moment we assumed further security measures and we set the data.”
404 Media said that 4chan users claimed to share personal data and selfies from Tea after the discovery of the exhibition database.
Hack comes after the tea application appears to have achieved viral popularity this week. From saturization in the morning it was still number one in the list of free applications in the Apple App Store.
